Follow Up Friday
Our friend Jodi over at Heart Like A Dog started Follow Up Friday not too long ago! She started it to give her an opportunity to update or revise a post from the previous week. We thought this was such a great idea that we have joined in. This is a blog hop so why not join the fun and hop some blogs with us!

It was very busy at our house this week…or I should say mom was very busy while we were busy being ignored! We are still a little peeved at mom but we are slowly getting over it! To recap last week’s events: Human sis came home and brought two of her roommates. Her two roommates are volleyball players at Wichita State and are very tall girls! I just had to mention that cause I didn’t know a girl could be that tall! I was fascinated…they were even taller than human dad, not that human dad is very tall. Just sayin’! The roommates were here through Monday and then they had to go back to school for volleyball practice. I thought I would mention that their volleyball team is really good. They even beat OU and that is a really big deal. Human sis didn’t go back until Tuesday. She kept mom busy the whole time she was here. It was kind of like no one else deserved mom’s attention…just her. What’s up with that? I thought we were all created equal in this house?
You might be asking if human sis plays volleyball since her roommates are volleyball players? No…she’s not tall enough to be a volleyball player! She wasn’t gifted with height! She did go to Wichita State on a softball scholarship but hurt her arm and isn’t playing anymore. So she goes to school and works at a chiropractor’s office and loves it! Good for her!
Mom was so busy with human sis that she slacked off on our writing. We weren’t too happy with her but we are getting back into it! Other things that happened during the week: the house is a mess and mom is just leaving it! I thinks she has just given up on the house staying clean
I’m sure she will clean sometime soon but she’s taking her own sweet time getting it done. Not only does the house need to be cleaned but the poop in the yard needs to be picked up. Yes mom…you have slacked off on poop detail. Shame on you! You need to get out there and get our mess picked up! Ewwww stinky!
Gator stayed with us all weekend and mom promised to take some good pictures. Did that happen? Heck no! Gator and Teddy played all weekend and now Teddy is limping around on his back leg. We really hope it isn’t hurt too bad and will get better soon. Gator is just too hyper and playful for us older dogs but mom keeps letting him come over. Doesn’t she know better?
The best thing about our week other than human sis coming home was the memorial stone that Miss Kim gave us for Shiloh! We love the stone and it reminds us of Shiloh every time we walk by it and that is a very good thing!
Things are starting to get back to normal here! But before we go we wanted to wish our friends Dakota and Rumpy Dog happy Gotcha Day! We hope your Gotcha Days are very special cause we thinks you are very special! This cake is for you Dakota and Rumpy Dog! Have a great Gotcha Day!

That okay about your human sis. I think she has found her calling… no matter how small or big an activity is, if human sis is happy with it then that’s good.
That’s really sweet of you guys to great uncle Rumpy a happy gotcha day.

It sounds like things have been super busy around there so I am extra appreciative you joined in on the Follow Up Friday fun!
It’s too bad your human sis hurt her arm and can no longer play softball. That must have been a difficult thing to get through. I am glad she found something else that works for her!
