Follow Up Friday#20: Another Great Dog Week!

We are joining Jodi over at Heart Like A Dog once again for her Friday Follow Up!  This is our week in a nutshell and it doesn’t really consist of a lot   We need to figure out how to make our weeks more interesting!

Dog Walks

Gee Whiz…can ya believes it’s Friday again?  Our week started out with great weather!  It was so warm the humans didn’t even have to wear a coat!  Mom thought it would be a good time to start Ash on her daily walking routine, so starting last Friday, mom and Ash began going for walks.  Friday’s walk went great, so mom took Ash on a longer walk Saturday.  Mom had this not so great great idea to walk to Mimi and Grandad’s house which is about 3 miles from our house.  Off they went…they walked to the end of the subdivision and then they entered onto 15th street.  This is a busy street and every time a car whooshed by, Ash would get a little lot frightened.  About halfway through their walk, Ash started getting tired and mom had to coax her to keep going.  Or maybe she wasn’t getting tired, she just decided that that was enough!  Whichever one, it took awhile to get to Mimi and Grandad’s.  So what about getting home you might ask?  Well, Grandad was nice enough to load Ash up in his car and bring mom and her back home.  Mom was afraid they would never get home as long as it took them to get there!  They walked every day this week until it got really cold outside yesterday.  I wish it would stay warm or snow.  Ya knows, if it is going to be cold it might as well snow!  Don’t cha think?

Valentine’s Day Ball

Do ya all know about the Valentine’s Day Ball coming up?  Of course you do!  We don’t have dates so if any of you out there would like to go with us, that would be so awesome.  Here are our pictures so you can see how handsome us boys are and how pretty our Ashie is!

I’m Ash and I am a special girl! I really want to go to that Valentine’s Day Ball. Won’t you please go with me?

 Bathtime

Ash got a bath yesterday!  Ash hates bathzzz and yesterday was no different.  Mom had a hard time lifting her into the tub cause Ash is one strong, big stout dog!  Once mom got her in the tub, well….the pictures tell it all!

 

Mom…I don’t want to take a bath!

That was hard work!  I’m pooped!

See the towel in the bottom of the tub?  Mom tried putting a towel in the tub so that Ash wouldn’t slip around while she was giving her a bath.  It worked great so if you have a problem with Fido slipping around in the tub while you are bathing him, you might try putting a towel in the bottom of the tub.  Only bad thing…you have to wring it out when you are finished but what the heck!  If it keeps us doggies from slipping around it’s worth it!

 Another Trip to the Vet

Teddy has a vet appointment later this afternoon cause his back leg is bothering him again.  Mom was feeling around on it and found a big knot like thing on it.  Not like a tumor but like it was swollen.  Mom is afraid Teddy has torn something so Teddy gets to go see the vet.  Teddy hates to go to the vet and it takes everything mom has to get him in the door.  Please keep your fingers and paws crossed for Teddy that it isn’t anything serious!
