When mom was asked if she would do a review for these ToughHound All Sports personalized dog collars which can be found at the Dog Bark Collar store, she jumped at the chance!  She was excited because these dog collars looked awesome.  She really liked the idea that you could display your dog’s name,  address and phone number right on the collar.  See the pictures below:

How cool is this! My name is engraved on the silver plate along with mom’s phone numbers.

First of all, she had to decide which one of us dogs would get the collar.  I insisted that it would be me since I do all the work on this blog!  Next, she had to decide what she wanted on the collar.  As you can see, she put my name, her phone numbers and the town we live in.  I guess she thought it would be better to put her phone numbers so she could be contacted right away if I got lost and somebody found me.  You can put your dog’s name, your address,  and phone number on the plate instead of two phone numbers!  Whatever you decide, you can’t go wrong!  Mom liked this idea cause we always loose those tags off of our collar that give our name and address.  She said this was more permanent and if I got out of the backyard for some reason, the info is right there for people to see.

Doesn’t it look good on me!

Mom and I agreed that the collar is just perfect.  See how the plate is on the back of my neck so if I’m lost the human that finds me won’t have to look for my name…it is just right there for everyone to see!

The plate with my name on it is on the back of my neck so it is easy for people to see.

I’m really hard on dog collars too.  Mom always buys me leather collars because they seem to last longer.  Only problem…they tend to stink after awhile!  This collar is made from highly-durable polycoated webbing so my pretty collar will last a long time!  It also has a non-porous surface that dries quickly so it won’t absorb those stinky odors that we dogs sometimes come into contact with!  It is also easy to clean so if I get muddy, mom can just wipe it off and wah lah…it is like brand new!  This collar just keeps getting better and better because you know that name plate I was talking about before..it is stainless steel and laser-engraved.  It is a permanent name plate so it won’t make those irritating jingly noises and it won’t fall off of its ring.  There are also plenty of different fonts to choose from.  Mom and I chose a Kristen font which looks pretty cool!

Doesn’t it look great on me!

There are several colors to choose from.  Mom chose the neon green which complements my white coat, don’t cha think?  For you girls out there, they have a neon pink!  How cool is that!  Check out these different colors they come in:

Another picture of me in my new collar!

This collar is designed to handle outdoor play hunting and long training sessions and it can tolerate extreme cold and heat.  I don’t know what else to say about this collar except that mom and I are really impressed with it.  It is perfect and I plan on wearing it for a long time!  The only disadvantage of this dog collar is the price which is $29.95…a little pricey for a dog collar.  But, for everything you get with the collar we think the $29.95 is very well spent and worth every penny!

Full Disclosure:  Mom and I were not paid to write this review. We were given a ToughHound Dog Collar so we could try it out and give our opinion on what we thought about it.  All opinions are mom’s and mine!
