Zoey The Boxer and Some Boxer Dog Quotes
This is Zoey the Boxer! She is such a pretty dog. I didn’t realize that Boxers were such good looking dogs until my cousin started sending me pictures of her Boxer, Zoey! Before I post the pictures, I thought I would include some Boxer information
Boxers were developed in Germany in the 19th century. They were used for dog fighting and to run down and hold large game such as wild boar and bison until the hunter could arrive. The breed is known for standing up on its hind legs and batting at its opponent, appearing to box with its front paws, thus the name Boxer. They were imported to America after World War I and began to grow in popularity in the late 1930′s. They are happy, a high-spirited, playful, curious and energetic dog breed. They are also powerful, instinctive guardians and have an intelligent and alert expression. They are also loyal and love to be with their people. They get along well with children and desire human affection especially from children. They are a good dog family dog and are patient and protective with children.
