Today I’m joining in the #mywritingprocesstour.  Our pal, JoAnn, from over at Sand Spring Chesapeakes invited me to participate.  I have to tell you, when I was reading everyone else’s blogs and what they were writing about pertaining to the writing tour, I was secretly hoping I wouldn’t be asked!  But when JoAnn asked me, I thought…why not and immediately said yes!

If you haven’t visited JoAnn’s blog, I highly recommend that you go over there and say hi!  She has three beautiful Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and a gorgeous cat!  We love reading her blog and watching her Chessies win all kinds of ribbons!  We think they are very talented dogs and JoAnn is dear to our heart.  Even though we have never met her, we consider her to be a very good friend.  Whenever I need a favor or help of some kind, JoAnn is always there to listen or to help me out.  Thank you JoAnn!  You’re the best!

So, these are the questions we are suppose to answer.

What am I working on?

As far as this blog goes, I am working on trying to write more posts that pertain to dog health and dog care.  I am also going back to earlier posts and fixing links.  Man, what a job that is!

I have also started a new site called The Daily Coffee Bean.  I have been working on adding new content to that site as often as possible.  If you have time, I would love for you to go over and check it out!  I plan on starting another Amazon review site as soon as I get a few more posts up on the coffee site.

My daughter has also gotten me involved in a new product line called Genesis Pure.  Have you all heard of it?  They are health products and if you read Scout’s post yesterday, you saw that we are trying to change our health habits!  Genesis Pure has all kinds of products that are good for you and if you want to lose weight, you should check out their weight loss products.  My daughter has lost a few pounds since she started on it last week.  You can find my site here if you want to see what it is all about.

Last but not least, I am always trying to figure out ways for the Tuesday’s Tails Blog Hop to get more participants!  This is a blog hop to help get the word out about shelter animals that need fur-ever homes.  If you post about pets that need a home, please consider linking up with us on Tuesday’s!

Why do I write what I do?

Honestly, I don’t know why I write what I do!  I just write about my dogs and things that I think are interesting.  I started this blog a few years ago thinking it would be an information blog but then it got to be more and more about my dogs and what was going on with them.  I love writing about my dogs and the crazy things they do even though they are getting older and they are much more laid back than when I started the blog.  Diesel, the grandpup, has changed that though!  When he comes to visit, all heck breaks lose!

Another great thing that I have found about blogging, is that I take a whole lot more pictures of my dogs now than I did when I wasn’t blogging.  I’m so thankful that I started this blog because I have lots of pictures and stories that I would have forgotten about if I hadn’t written about them!  Maybe one day, my grandkids will enjoy reading about our fur babies or they will think that I am a totally crazy dog person!

How does my writing process work?

I just sit down and whatever comes to mind, I write about it.  The one thing that I do, is proofread what I have written over and over again.  And even then, I still find mistakes a couple of weeks later.  I try really hard to get the grammar and spelling correct!  Being a retired math teacher, the writing process doesn’t come naturally for me!

We are suppose to pass this tour on to three other bloggers so I would like to invite you to check out these three blogs:

Happiness is…Siamese With Mikko and Jax
